Fascinating Golf Sports Stories: Unforgettable Moments on the Green

Between 1957 and 1964, South Carolina's city and business leaders teamed up to hold a downtown parade modeled after the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Thousands of people gathered along the streets to witness the spectacle, which featured around 60 floats. As part of this tradition, there was a Golf Ball event, and each year, Miss Golf was chosen.
